Sous Vide Green Beans with Garlic and Cilantro

Ingredients
1 lb green beans, cleaned and trimmed.
1 red bell pepper, cleaned and sliced into strips.
2 Tbsp olive oil
1 lemon, zested and juiced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1 Tbsp fresh cilantro, chopped
½ tsp sea salt
¼ tsp back pepper
Instructions
- Fill and preheat sous vide cooker at 185°F.
- Place green beans and red pepper in quart-size sous vide bag.
- In small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice and zest, garlic, cilantro, salt, and pepper. Pour the mixture into the bag and shake it to evenly coat the beans.
- Seal the bag. (Insert the weights if needed.) Submerge it in the water bath for 1 hour
- Remove bag from water and empty contents into serving bowl. Garnish with additional cilantro.
