Three Alfredo Sauce Recipes

Ree Drumond's Recipe
Yield: about 3 Cups
Ingredients
½ Cup (1 stick) unsalted butter
1 C heavy cream
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
2 C freshly grated Parmesan
Pasta cooking water as needed

- In a saucepan or skillet, warm the butter and cream. Season with salt and pepper. Add the Parmesan and stir until melted.
- Toss to combine, thinning with pasta water if necessary.
Olive Garden Recipe
Yield: about 4 Cups
Ingredients
⅜ Cup (6 Tbsp) unsalted butter
1 Tbsp Garlic
2 Tbsp flour
1½ C whole milk
1½ C heavy cream
½ C freshly grated Parmesan
½ C freshly grated Romano
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
- Olive Garden: Instructions
- Sauté the butter and garlic in a saucepan or medium heat. Cook 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
- Add the remaining ingredients to saucepan and stir occasionally until the sauce begins to simmer. Remove from heat.
- Serve the Alfredo sauce over your favorite pasta, such as fettuccini, linguinie, or bow tie.
"Best Alfredo Ever, Better Than Olive Garden"

Ingredients
3 Tbsp sweet butter, (unsalted)
2 Tbsp olive oil
2 garlic cloves, minced
2 C heavy cream
¼ tsp white pepper
½ C freshly grated Parmesan
¾ C mozzarella cheese
salt to taste

- Melt butter in medium saucepan with olive oil over medium/low heat.
- Add the garlic, cream, white pepper and bring mixture to a simmer.
- Stir often.
- Add the Parmesan cheese and simmer sauce for 8-10 minutes or until sauce has thickened and is smooth.
- When sauce has thickened add the Mozzarella cheese and stir until smooth. STIR FREQUENTLY.
- While the sauce cooks, boil noodles for 3-5 minutes.
- Place pasta on serving plates and spoon sauce over pasta.

¼ C chopped fresh parsley

- Melt butter in medium saucepan medium/low heat. Add cream and simmer for 5 min, then add garlic and cheese and whisk quickly, heating through. Stir in the parsley and serve.
