Yield: 4 servings

Ingredients

1 C Fruit juice, (pineapple, orange, lemonade, apple, etc.
      or use water for perfectly clear )
½ C sugar
2 Tbsp Corn starch
(optional) Flavoring such as peppermint extract, ginger,
      coffee, chocolate

Instructions

  1. Mix sugar and corn starch. Put liquid in a medium-sized sauce pan.
  2. Heat and add sugar mixture while stirring constantly. Cook until mixture is translucent and boiling. Add flavoring if using.
  3. Simmer 2 minutes. Cool at least 10 minutes before using. If possible refrigerate cold if using on cold fresh fruit.
