Missing the parchment paper to line the bottom of the cake pan?
Try using a large (8 to 10-cup) basket-style paper
coffee filter. Grease an 8-inch pan then place
a flattened filter in the bottom of the pan,
spray it with nonstick cooking spray, then
pour the batter. It will work without any
special trimming to make the coffee
filter fit inside the pan.
