Safe Skewer Storage

The sharp ends of skewers can be dangerous if left loose in a drawer. A solution is to stick the ends of the skewers into the end of a wine cork (real cork, not plastic), then secure the opposite ends with a twist tie and store the bundle in the drawer. After use, the skewers easily slip back into the holes.
