Instructions:

Trunk and head

(1) Ch 4, join into ring. Make 6 sc into ring.
(2) 2sc in each stitch. (12 sc)
(3 � 15) sc into each stitch. (12 sc)

Note: To make the crochet elephants trunk curl turn the head inside out prior to stuffing attach a length of yarn at the end of the trunk and sew in a loose running stitch along the top of the trunk. Make sure the stitches wont be seen when the trunk is turned back the right way. Leave the end of the thread lose. Turn back the right way and stuff the trunk. Pull the thread in the trunk, curling the trunk upwards as you tighten it. Sew the end of the thread to the inside of the head to secure it before stuffing the rest of the head.

Body

Tail

(1) Ch 4, join into ring. Make 4sc into ring
(2-8) sc into each stitch

Cut 6 small strands if yarn. Attach to hook onto one of the stitches of the 1st row, put the strand over the hook, pull through to make a loop, put both end of the yarn over the hook and pull through the loop. Repeat for all strands of yarn. Unwind the strands to make a fluffy end to the tail.
