Petal Repeat
Ch 1 and turn your work

Working into the front loops from the previous petal (you will need to really look for these loops. If you are having problems locating these loops, you may work into the back loops only of your slip stitches):

  1. Sc into first stitch.
  2. Hdc into the second stitch.
  3. Hdc into the third stitch.
  4. Dc 2 into the fourth stitch.
  5. Dc into the fifth stitch.
  6. Tc into the sixth stitch.
  7. Tc 2 into the seventh stitch.
  8. Tc into the eighth stitch.
  9. Dtc into the ninth stitch.
  10. Dtc into the tenth stitch.
  11. You will have two stitches remaining, do not work into these stitches.
Ch 2 and turn your work.

Working in the back loops only: Slst into each of the next 12 stitches. Slst into center of ring.

Repeat the “Petal Repeat” 8 more times for a total of 10 petals.

Bind off leaving a tail that is approximately 6”. Thread the tail with your darning needle and whip stitch the first petal to the last petal in the back loops only to maintain the ridged pattern. Weave in your ends.
