Trinity Stitch Scarf

Materials:
- N Nook
- Yarn Needle for weaving ends
- Scissors
- One skein of worsted weight yarn — about 250 yds.
Sc in first sc, insert hook in same sc and draw up a loop.
Insert hook in next st and draw up another loop (3 loops on hook).
Insert hook in the next st and draw up another loop. (4 loops on hook.)
Yarn over and draw through all 4 loops on hook. Ch 1.
Instructions:
- (Foundation:) Chain 25. Row 1: Sc in 2nd ch from hook, insert hook in same ch and pull up a loop (2 loops on hook).
- Row 1 continues: (left below) Insert hook in next chain (#3 in picture below) and draw up another loop. (now 3 loops on hook).
(right below) Insert hook in the next chain (#4 in picture) and draw up a loop. (now 4 loops on hook). - Row 1 continues: (left below) Yarn over and draw yarn through all 4 loops. Chain 1.
- Row 1 continues: * Insert hook in same sc and draw up a loop.
Insert hook in next st and draw up another loop. (3 on hook)
Insert hook in next st and draw up another loop. (4 on hook)
Yarn over and draw through all 4 loops. Ch 1.
Repeat from * across the row. Sc in same ch as last st - Row 2: Ch 1, turn. Sc in first sc,
*(complete the Trinity Stitch) insert hook in same sc and draw up loop.
Insert hook in next st and draw up another loop (3 loops on hook).
Insert hook in the next st draw up a loop (4 on hook).
Yarn over and draw through all 4 loops. Ch 1.
Repeat from * across the row. Sc in same ch as last st. - Repeat row 2 until scarf is the desired length. Break yarn and tie off.
- Add fringe in the corners, across ends, or none at all.

Do not include the active loop on hook when counting.
