Materials:

• Red Heart Super Saver Yarn (2 skeins) 728 yards. (charcoal)
• Crochet Hook: J - 6 mm
• Tapestry needle
• Scissors

Abbreviations:

• Ch: chain
• St(s): Stitch(es)
• Sl st: slip stitch
• sc: single crochet
• dc: double crochet
• blo: Work in back loop only
• fsc: foundation single crochet

Scarf:
Row 1: With Charcoal, fsc 270 (or ch 271, sc in 2nd ch from hook and across). (270 sc)
Row 2: Ch 1, turn. in blo, sc across. (270 sc)
Row 3-4: Repeat row 2.
Row 5: *Ch 3, sk 3 sts, sc in next st, repeat from * across. (68 ch 3 spaces)
Row 6: Ch 1, turn. Sc across putting 3 scs in the ch 3 sps and 1 sc in the scs from the previous row. (270 sc)
Row 7: Ch 3, turn. *sk next st, dc in next st, dc in st that was skipped, repeat form * across, making Xs. (See video for visual instructions.)
Row 8: Ch 1, turn. working both loops, sc across. (270 sc)
Row 9-21: Repeat rows 2-8.
Row 22-25: Sc in each st across.
Fasten off, weave in all ends.
Sc across each end of the scarf. Add tassels or fringe.
