Kitchen Towel

Skill Level:

Finished Size: 12 X 18 Inches. (Double the pattern to 18 X 24 to make a towel.)

Materials:

• 10 oz Lily Sugar'n Cream
• G & H Crochet hooks
• Scissors
• Tapestry needle

Instruction:
Use H hook and loosely chain 54 (or any even number, depending on size of towel).
Row 1: Switch to G hook. Sc in second ch from hook.
*ch 1, sk 1, sc* Repeat from * to * to end of chain.
Row 2: Ch 1 and turn. *Sc next sc, dc in ch sp* Repeat from * to * to end of row.

Repeat rows 1 and 2 until desired length is achieved.


Edging:
Row 1: Sc around all four sides. (3 sc at each corner.) Join.
Row 2: Sc in back loop only around all four sides with increases in middle stitch at the corners.

A rolled edge using reverse sc would make a nice finish too.
