Notes and Tips:
Instructions:

Skirt

This pattern has a flaired skirt.

In the 1st round we increase 5 double crochet in the same stitch every 10 stitches Very important in the first 10 stitches of the front and the last 10 stitches do not increase.

Example. I have 106 stitches 106/10 = 10.6 It is not multiples of 10. So divide the extra 6 stitches and put them in the first and last groups. I start with 13 double crochet and increase 5 double crochet, and I finish with the increase of 5 double crochet and 13 double crochet.

Pat's modification: Use a pleat at center back, chain 40 for size 2. (adds 40 sts to back skirt). Do not add other stitches across the back. Increase each front by 10 stitches. Omitting the 10 sts nearest center front, increase 1 about every third stitch.

Continue to dc to lengthen the coat. Pattern says 20 rows in skirt. 24 cm or 9.4 inches. Insert the button holes at appropriate spaces as you go.

Girl's Coat Back
Girl's Coat Back
Replace fullness in back with a pleat at center back at bottom of yoke.

Hood

We start from where the buttonhole ends
3 chains 2 double crochet together, 2 double crochet *, 2 double crochet together repeat from *
Continue sequence until the end of the round
We finished with the same double crochet number that we left in the beginning.
The next round we work a double crochet in each stitch
Work for 18 rounds 22 centimeters or 8.6 inches
When we have the hood we sew the top part folded in half in equal parts.
You can also do it by joining with a low stitches .
Around the hood we make 5 rounds of double crochet
Omit the ears on hood of the original design.

Make bow and stitch over the top of the center-back pleat.
