Rumi Crochet Baby Blanket

Finished Size: 25" X 33"



Materials:

• Crochet Hook 5mm (H)
• Paintbox Yarns Simply Aran Yarn:
  4 skeins Paper White (Color A)
  1 skein Washed Teal (Color B)
  About the yarn used: Acrylic, 3.5 oz per skein @ $3 Wide variety of color available.
• Scissors
• Yarn Needle

Instructions:

Foundation: With color A, chain 102 (multiple of 4 + 2)
• Row 1: Work 3 dc in sixth chain from hook;
  * ch 1, skip next 3 ch, 3 dc in next chain; repeat from * across,
  ending last rep with 2 dc (instead of 3) in last ch. Ch 2, turn.
• Row 2: *DC in next ch1 space, TR in second of skipped chains from foundation chain, DC in same ch1 space, CH1; repeat from * across, ending last rep with 2 DC in top of turning chain; CH2, turn.
• Row 3: *DC in next ch1 space, TR in second of skipped stitch from row below, DC in same ch1 space, CH1; repeat from * across, ending last rep with 2 DC in top of turning chain; CH2, turn.
• Repeat Row 3 for pattern, working one row in Color B every 6 rows (five rows of Color A, followed by 1 row of Color B).

Stitch Chart:


When blanket measures 33" or your desired length, continue on to Border.


Border:
Work around the border of the blanket evenly in single crochet for 1 round. Make sure that you work 3 SC in each corner of the border. Fasten off and weave in ends.
