Cal is the oldest brother; he hires his ex-wife Penny to re-vamp the family's flagship restaurant that used to be the pride of the family and now is on the edge of closure. Penny is a popular new and upcoming chef in the area but does not have enough money to start her own restaurant or start a family (even if it is on her own) she desires. She accepts Cal's offer in exchange, she has a few stipulations of her own. This story is about second chances, very sweet.
Walker is the third brother and an ex-marine. He leaves the military after his experience at war and comes home with "baggage" and needs to adjust to his new life. His story is about adjusting, learning to trust others and allowing others to love him.
Reid is the middle brother. He was an ex-athlete who retired too early because of an injury. He is used to his playboy ways and finds himself running the family owned sports bar. He has problems with commitment as well as maintaining relationships that last longer than one night. He hires Lori to take care of his grandmother. Lori is the first woman who did not throw herself at him, so he is intrigued by her.
I really enjoyed this bundle. It was great to see how the story of this family, the drama around it, the romances and issues continued from one book to the other, and everything flowed really well. It is worth reading. I couldn't stop reading. Pick yourself the last book as well to complete the series. The last one is about Dani, their youngest sister.
